Our Story

It all started in 1952 when Arthur and Virginia Sylvester ran the market with their eight children by their side, offering a bounty of fresh vegetables, pumpkins, apples, cider, mums, melons, and sweet corn.

In the late 1970s, Anthony, the youngest of the Sylvester children, took the reins after graduating high school. Along with his wife Amy, he raised nine children on the same land that his father had farmed. Today, at 64 years old, Anthony continues to manage the business, cultivating the same beloved products that his father once grew, carrying on a cherished family legacy.

“Farmers are the heart of our community, bringing fresh produce to our tables and nourishing our families with the gifts of the earth.”
